I know it's early in the trial, but...

Watching the defense attorney so far, my prediction as to his final message to the jury
“who are you going to believe, me or you lying eyes ?”

he could still get off if one or two members of the jury refuse to convict. I suspect someone on that jury will believe the defense's version, and not their lying eyes.

He could be, and almost certainly would be, retried.
