Returning Snowbirds, no doubt. Fl, Mi, NY, Pa, NJ lead current Covid surge.

We know Florida’s been hiding their real numbers for a year now.

"Case rates have risen especially in Michigan lately, averaging more than 6,600 cases a day over a week now against 1,350 daily cases five weeks ago. And elected officials and health experts have said highly contagious variants such as B.1.1.7 have helped spur increases there..."

Snowbirds and Spring Breakers.

A former co-worker winters in Florida. She was sharing lots of photos or her going to gatherings, and neither she or anyone else in the photos were ever wearing masks.

I'm double vaccinated, still wearing a mask but started to feel a little more comfortable going out and about. Now I'm heading back into the discomfort zone and double checking my supply of hand sanitizer.

What I like best about this, is that the people doing the loudest complaining about the easy, effective, and CHEAP countermeasures are the least observant of those countermeasures. And that means that we all have to keep masking up, washing our hands frequently, and stay socially distant because they can't follow simple instructions. Then they complain some more.

It just fucking makes my day.

most were among the first to self isolate. Not all, of course.

The big reason FL has all the variants is that self-selected, scumbag disease spreaders brought them from all the OTHER states (including yours). Like those just now freed to run spread disease by Easter vacations.

They came from your state and every other, traded their diseases around themselves, infected hapless local service workers, then took their disease-carrying selves back home and continued their depraved work there.

Responsible states would have put a leash on their disease spreaders.
