Logan & Abigail Evans

I am so heartbroken for and impressed with young Logan Evans.
When Majority Leader Schumer spoke about Logan's father, the little boy looked right at him, and nodded in understanding.

Speaker Pelosi acknowledged Logan and Abigail, with their stuffed support animals and toy capital squishies. When Abigail dropped her foam Capitol, THE PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES picked it up, like just another mom at the play group.

As the President speaks directly to Officer Evans mother, I have hope we a a nation will heal.

The compassion and humanity emanating from this Administration in light of these horrific murders of Capital Police Officers shows Biden's commitment to the battle for America's soul.

I ache for those two kids, and Mrs Evans, and hope this is the last Capitol police officer who lays in honor.

It's as searing as three year old John F. Kennedy, Jr. in his short pants, saluting as his father's casket passed.

He looks at the President and the other speakers with such open, earnestness.

How old is young Logan?

...significant because he was 3, I do apologize, as that is not at all what I meant.

Although the understanding of death does vary with a child’s age, the lifelong effects of losing a parent early in life obviously do not.

Again, I apologize for expressing myself badly.
