(362 posts)I love Joe Biden, but on the one issue of cannabis legalization hes a bit behind the moment.
He will be the last Democratic President not to support full cannabis legalization. The Party, and the country, have collectively decided on this issue as decisively as we ever do on anything.

(2,984 posts)It allows him to burnish his conservative bonafides with very little to no loss, since he knows it's moving forward without him anyway. Of course, he may truly believe it, but I think it's a bit of a political play to the center and the older, more conservative electorate.
