DeSantis and Fox are worried about some mobs in America- others not so much.![]() Choosing his weasel words carefully, DeSantis remarked: “I don’t know what happened with this verdict, but if that’s something that can potentially happen, where you basically have justice made meted out because the jury is scared of what a mob may do? And again I’m not saying that’s what happened here, but that speaker seemed to suggest that that had an impact, that’s completely antithetical to the rule of law.” The speaker in question was a black activist in New York...

There are so many cases of the Left lynching people, scaring people.

Republicanism has quickly evolved to just pushing outright boldface lies. They are dangerous lies, though, because it involves safety and security. They are trying to create an alternate United States where Democrats don’t exist.

He is happy to help construct a cocoon that he personally wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole, but it's good enough for the people he needs to support him at the polls.

5. They are aghast that people prejudged Chauvin as guilty, but not at those who declared him innocent.
If we are talking about public remarks that could have tainted the jury deliberations, shouldn't we be addressing the Right Wing Media hordes who have been daily proclaiming that Chauvin is innocent and that Floyd deserved what he got?
