Arent you embarrassed? the Salt Lake City Tribune reported the Utah senator asking the crowd of 2,100 delegates at the Maverik Center in West Valley City. Im a man who says what he means, and you know I was not a fan of our last presidents character issues.
----
You can boo all you like, Romney told a crowd the Tribune said spat insults like so many poison darts.
Ive been a Republican all my life. My dad was the governor of Michigan and I was the Republican nominee for president in 2012.

Of course they booed him. Because of course they did... Just like in the UK where the Tory party has been taken over by the far right racist nationalist underbelly of a supposedly liberal progressive nation as it is in America with the GOP. The hostile takeover is complete, but with such nasty comes conflict and chaos as these types live in a world of paranoia and delusion. They will start eating their own very soon.

(25,623 posts)That was really disgusting. Or Hillary Clinton booed, called horrible names, dollar bills thrown at her when going to a fundraiser at George Clooney's house. Disgusting and massively stupid. I expect Republicans to be stupid.

(28,342 posts)Useful idiots for Putin, and I would wager a bet that many of them have still never come to terms with the farcical obscenity they participated in. A truly unfortunate share of them will likely go to their graves never undergoing the kind of self-reflection required for growth or accepting even the smallest share of accountability for their behavior and resulting consequences.

My desire is to see Mitt Romney and the reTHUGS all disappear into the dustbin of
history. If the U.K.'s Tories and other fascists around the world disappear too so much the
better.

(3,591 posts)I give Mittens credit for not bowing down to those jerks. They call him a traitor while worshiping the former Traitor-In-Chief.
Anyway, an interesting response from a progressive (Helen Armstrong):

(10,133 posts)I find that the most pathetic thing Ive heard in a long time. Todays R party shows zero respect for anyone or anything other than their own selfishness. In fact, they relish in the outright and conscious disrespect of others. They laughed and jeered anytime the former guy spewed insults and broke all rules of normalcy.
They do not know what respect is, nor deserve an ounce of it. In fact, the second I understand - through conversation, clothing, bumper sticker or flag flying truck - that someone is even R leaning, I lose immediate respect for them.
I have more respect for Mitt than just about any R out there, ironically.

(11,495 posts)of how crazy the trump cults really is.
The "republican party" is now divided between the batshit crazies, and those republicans that still think their party can come together, but it won't as long as trump is spewing his BS to those crazy enough to believe is BS!
