In case you missed it, this is absolutely my favorite image from the State of the Union address. I think its destined to become iconic.
To begin with, look at that perfect framing. The first woman Vice President in stride, backlit by a rectangle of soft light, with Old Glory also bathed in that light. Shes dressed to kill in a tailored suit, high heels, head held high, looking as confident as any Vice President in memory.
Her entourage leads the procession with (I assume) her security detail, then the Vice President, then behind her per protocol, the alpha males of the Senate; Schumer, McConnell, Leahy and Thune picking up the rear. . The two massive gold-framed paintings on either side remind the viewer of just where they are, of the gravitas of history.
Add a highly polished foor mirroring all of the above, and youve have a photo for the ages.

I like it better with the image of the little girl walking preceding it, but this image is worthy all on its own with its perfect framing and elements. Definitely worthy of consideration. It must have taken some planning, waiting for that moment.
This image is good enough to be framed and hung on walls. I wish it could be blown up in glossy for framing.
I'm just so happy with Kamala. We had a lot of worthy contenders for both Pres and VP, but there is just something so satisfying about this VP.
