would say "but there are like a million McDees employees and even at $12 an hour that's still 12 million bucks an hour! And only 1 CEO at $9000 an hour... it's a bargain!"

same guy that has a 12 year growing shitpile in his yard because he doesn't want to pay the dump fees on large garbage.

At the beginning, it was the McD brothers, Ray Kroc and a secretary. At times, they didn't have the money to pay her full salary, but she believed in them enough to accept shares that in that moment were all but worthless....but in the end, sold for $63,000,000.

She had accumulated 15% of the company's shares. Can you imagine what that would be worth today? Well, I'll tell you. By today's market cap, 15% would be worth $16 Billion.

But....I'd still take the $63 million 70s dollars, and the nearly 40 years to enjoy them and do something good with them.

Blurb:

The true story of how Ray Kroc (Michael Keaton), a struggling salesman from Illinois, met Mac (John Carroll Lynch) and Dick McDonald (Nick Offerman), who were running a burger operation in 1950s Southern California. Kroc was impressed by the brothers' speedy system of making the food and saw franchise potential. Kroc soon maneuvers himself into a position to be able to pull the company from the brothers and create a multi-billion dollar empire.
