..[Note: haven't checked other countries, yet reporting out of India this past week has been horrific with high death rate; new cases]

1. No new case reported TODAY, but it's still too early for today's reports
Yesterday's new cases total was 17,834.

4. That was with 16 states
failing to report ... I follow worldometer pretty much daily
NC never reports Saturday or Sunday as do other states, so the #’s are never current ✌🏻 |

2. There were 289 deaths yesterday, the 7-day moving average is at 616 deaths / day.

6. The 7 day moving average for deaths is actually 561 as of last week.
And that average is down from 635 at the beginning of May, a 12% drop over two weeks. That is down from 3,422 7 day moving average at the beginning of the year which represents a 84% drop from the beginning of the year.

5. Monday is a low reporting day, and early in the morning is before almost anything has been reported.
You get a much better idea of what's going on by looking at it in the late eve, middle of the week.
