House Rules chair Jim McGovern rips McCarthy rejection of Jan. 6 commission, saying he can’t lead: “Trump got wind of what we’re doing and called up the Minority Leader and said ‘I don’t like it.’ Pathetic.”

McGovern: “If there’s anybody in this chamber who doesn’t believe that it’s important to get to the truth about what happened on the 6th — they are not fit to serve in this chamber. I have had it.”

I'm with him, I've had it! Somebody's got to put their foot down and stop public officials from distorting the truth beyond recognition.

Appoint a presidential commission to investigate the events of Jan 6, and turn the results over to the DOJ for prosecution as necessary.

Biden should act like he has some powers.... hell, Trump would have declared martial law and invalidated all future elections if he had had this opportunity.
