Yet, a majority are afraid of nature. Lions, Tigers, and Bears. And, ticks and mosquitoes.
Which, in a way, is fine with me. The fewer people trampling our wildlands, the better. However, a lack of experience with the natural world is also detrimental to anyone, in my opinion.
Harmony with Nature is the answer to our survival.

(17,576 posts)I am trying to come back to life after a year of hibernation. To someone prone to depression, the past year was not pretty. I mowed for six hours yesterday and I am feeling like a renaissance man. I like mowing, you put the mower in gear and take your mind out of gear, all you have to do is dodge the trees and when you are done it looks like you have accomplished something.
