Conservative Radio Host Turns Against Arizona 'Audit'

June 7, 2021 at 10:22 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

Conservative radio host Mike Broomhead, a staple on the Phoenix airwaves, has turned against the Arizona GOP “audit” of the 2020 election results, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Said Broomhead: “You’re turning this into the clown show that you’ve been accused of… You’re turning this into the sideshow at the state fair.”

He added: “No matter where you stand, the one thing we can all agree on is it has put a great big wedge in this community. That to me is the worst part of this. It’s one more reason for us to stand on opposite sides of the streets and complain about each other.”

Don't you think they would have discovered it weeks ago?

It's getting harder and harder for GOPs to defend this. It's a sham and they now know it. Like the person who always gives you a deadline and keeps pushing it back. Weak or no work product delivered in the end.

They weren't even prepared to receive the ballots when they were delivered. They had all these crazy ideas about using UV light and looking for bamboo fibers but nobody had considered the logistics of simply handling and keeping track of 2 million pieces of paper. They didn't have the infrastructure or personnel, much less the expertise, to do it on time or correctly.
