Why Congress is not holding more hearings on the 1/6 Insurrection?

Shouldn't there be a lot of witnesses they should be questioning?

Is it because they were holding back because they thought there would be a Commission to investigate it?

Or because they did not want to double-jeopardize possible charges against some very big names?

There should be a lot of people answering questions under oath right now.

Do you feel that things are moving much too slowly ?

If they're waiting for the arrests to be concluded, they should just say so. Otherwise the impression is that it will be allowed to be swept under the rug. Just another case of IOKIYAR.

law enforcement is gathering evidence, and prosecutors are charging those against which adequate evidence has been obtained, more every day.

But I can understand why people are growing more impatient with the justice system.

These things don't happen instantaneously just because we're impatient.

...is because they think the situation is getting worse with every passing day, not better. A grand Jury can indict a ham sandwich but it can't indict Rudy Giuliani?

The fact that Giuliani hasn't yet been indicted tells us nothing.

People need to be patient.

want the masterminds behind it jailed. One can surely make a case trump, Rudy, etc., “encouraged” or maybe even commanded the rubes to attack the Capitol and end the certification. . . . .but I’m not sure they’ll get the ring leaders for something like that.

And, right now I don’t think country can handle too much of an investigation that will be called political. Now, that might be different in a year.

Point is, for foreseeable future I’d bet those 400 are only ones we’ll see arrested, brought to trial, or cutting a deal. Now, fools like Gaetz might get arrested

And that pisses people off, to know that the ringleaders are going to get away with it, and the poor suckers are going to go to jail.
