Last week the recently formed People's Party held what was billed a "People's Party National Call".

When it began they had about 30 participants. Ten minutes into the session it dropped under 20, and by 30 minutes (it was scheduled to be an hour) this is how many participants they had: THREE! One of those three was me.

"The People’s Party isn’t on the ballot in Ohio yet so she will have to run as a Democrat"

She can't run as a People's Party candidate, so she "has" to run as a Democrat, i.e., use the Democratic Party until the party she co-founded can appear on the ballot.

Considering they can only get 3 people on their "National Call", I don't see that party going anywhere.

PS - yes, that looks like a shower curtain on the right and a weed whacker on the left. Great staging from an organizer of the call.

Yes! This is Nina Turner's preferred party. She wanted to run in Ohio under this party... but they were late in their paperwork or didn't have enough signatures (or something technical) that prevented her from running under the "People's Party" banner.

Basically, she's running "as" a Democrat although I think it's pretty damn clear that she doesn't consider herself to be a Democrat.

There should have been no doubt about that when she declared her support for Jill Fucking Stein (the Green party vote-splitting candidate) who ran against Hillary.

There also should have been no doubt about anyone's loyalties (or lack thereof) when Joe Biden was compared to "a bowl of shit" (and this was WELL AFTER he had already secured the Democratic nomination. Her favorite candidate was Bernie... he lost... and Biden was our clear winner and party nominee... and there she goes comparing him to "a bowl of shit".

I prefer a team player. Someone who's loyal to our party. Someone who respects party leadership. Someone who SUPPORTS our party's nominees. Someone who doesn't support OPPONENTS of the Democratic party. Someone who does NOT compare Joe Biden to "a bowl of shit".

What kind of person does that?

Certainly no one who deserves MY respect or support.
