1. I think he will cut a deal............
isn’t his son also implicated? That may be the “push” needed to get him to cooperate.

10. He'll fall on his sword IMO
Apparently, his chief goal in life was to please Shitstain, who almost certainly still has a hold on him. He’s thinking by the time he has exhausted all options a Trump acolyte will have regained the White House and he’ll be pardoned. If that doesn’t pan out then he can always revisit his strategy.

Just my guess. I bet the charges -- and thereby the penalty he is risking by going to trial -- will be underwhelming.

12. If the charges are just not paying taxes on some fringe benefits
--which has been reported so far -- there would not be much reason to talk. Those charges are not prticuolarly serious at the federal level.

will spend a few days droning on about how the system favors the wealthy and then move on to the next shiny object.

18. Think it will end like Michael Cohen. He talked and cooperated, yet nothing touched trump. n/t
What exactly do we think Weisselberg will say that will take trump down? So far, it sounds like a few people in the Organization will get hit with avoiding taxes by not reporting some taxable perks.

19. He has to get a solid witness protection deal
Weisselberg was never as crazy as the people he worked for.
On the other hand, it's possible that the DA can make this case without Weisselberg's testimony. How much evidence do they really have? Maybe it's enough to take them all down. We'll see. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

26. He might not talk until they threaten to arrest his son for failing to pay income tax on the
condo deal gifted by Trump or something else that is related. The son's former wife is blabbing to the prosecutors so the house of cards is going to collapse. If Weisselberg protects Trump and goes to jail he's one of the stupidest people on earth. Trump will not be elected again and there will be no pardon. Weisselberg will end up dying in jail.

29. That's the beauty of our checks and balances of power: No one person can make anything happen
so grifting requires the assistance of many people who later can turn state's evidence. I wonder if that wasn't the original thinking back in the 1780's.

Failure to pay taxes on fringe benefits does not carry are serious weight. We'd be lucky to get a fine and probation out of those charges.

30. Michael Cohen who has been through the federal prosecution
wringer already says Weisselberg will flip. Says Weisselberg doesn't know how much pressure the prosecutors can apply when they want to do so.
