If so, the more people that vote, the more their election would be assured.
But, they know they support a minority platform, so they have to try to rig the voting to get majorities in elections.
Ya think they would just shift their positions a bit more to the center, but instead they are shifting more to the right.
This only works with voter suppression and vote negation.
It keeps getting harder for them to be successful at this, but they keep going at it with more and more severe laws that are inherently opposed to the philosophy of our republic.
One of two things must happen.
Either they win, and the Republic fails, or they fail, and the Republican Party crashes and burns.
It's going to be a difficult struggle, but I'm putting my money on the American People for the win.
The Republic, as championed by the Democratic Party, will prevail!

Even with all 50 Democrats on board, they'd still need 10 Republicans to join in.

The filibuster stays unless ALL the Democrats agree on getting rid of it, and as we all know, a couple of them are not on board with that.

Therefore, it's not just the Republicans preventing passage, but they are part of the picture.

I no longer feel inhibited to lay that name on them, on every one of the 6 fascists on the court. With this racist decision, SCOTUS revealed its true leaning -- and it isn’t rightward, it isn’t Republican, it isn’t even “Conservative” in the sense of Reagan and Goldwater. It’s fascist. Fascist to the marrow.

Our only hope is in Biden’s ability to navigate the troubled political waters in Washington D.C. and for the Democrats to get out historic numbers of votes in 2022 and 2024. If the Dems can increase their numbers in the House and, please god, the Senate, it would be possible for Biden’s Administration to pack the court with real justices, justices whose decisions you might disagree with but not their integrity. Four at a minimum, but six would be even better, to neutralize the six fascists.

If the Dems can’t increase their lead in House and Senate in 2022, the current SCOTUS will continue to re-shape the vision of this country to one that is more and more plutocratic (which is to say fascist) and less a country where each citizen has equal opportunity and voice.

9 Supreme Court Justices, 6 wearing white hoods and Othala Rune patches. (The Othala Rune is the Nazi symbol that was used in the design of the stage for the CPAC convention.)

said a 2017 GOP voter ID law was unconstitutional. The law essentially made people registering for same day voting do back flips and somersaults to fulfill the requirements and if they didn't produce documents in a specified period of time to be fined. The League of Women voters brought the lawsuit and won. Guess the legal profession will be busy thanks to Republicans.

you will not be able to vote, and to test the "loyalty" these fascists will look at your voting record registration, and if your a independent they will be outlawed outright along with the democrat's....and yes it is unfortunate in your comment that it may be to radical when people don't wake up and smell the proverbial coffee before its to late...this current right wing supporting authoritarian fascists' loving John Roberts court is just marching in lock step with that mantra and the donors that got them on the bench in the first place.......and a permit should be authorized by the Park Police to have a protest this coming October to remind all six of them that they should be impeached...because every last one of them lied during there "confirmation" side shows.....

in any election should be the shining star of our democracy. I am beside myself that the holiest of courts, the Supreme Court of the United States regards our right to vote with such disrespect.

We need to add Constitutionally aligned judges to the Supreme Court - now!
