Has anyone else noticed the ratcheting up of rhetoric on Fox in the past few weeks?

They are portraying themselves and democracy as under immediate existential threat by the schools (CRT), the health establishment (CDC and Fauci), immigration, Democratic bills, liberall gun laws, etc., etc.

I've been informally monitoring Fox for decades and realize that the network has never been as shrill as now. It seems like a call to action, one commentator talking about the window (opportunity for them to reverse the Democratic trends) is "quickly closing."

Do they know that something is coming or are they just trying to keep up with OAN and Newsmax?

One of the main ways they have always done that is by projection; the crazier their viewership becomes, the crazier they paint non-cultists (i.e. Democrats) to be.

They have done this since their founding.

Just like the headlines this morning,” Biden Goal of Vaccinations not Met!”

Never mind that one million 76 hundred were! The goal was 170 million.

This was CNN!

But it's good that some, like Media Matters and Crooks and Liars, monitor it closely

They're maintaining the Big Lie that Trump actually won democratically, so now they proclaim that any other outcome is anti-democratic.

I'm lucky to have an "al a carte" option among my cable channels, and Fox News certainly wasn't one of my choices.

They want to violently overthrow the government, that's as traitorous as it gets.

Because of them.

They tend to create problems rather than solving them. That’s what they do.
