A high school teacher from Florida was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the U.S. Capitol riots on January 6.

Kenneth John Reda, 54, was taken into custody by FBI agents and has been charged with disorderly conduct and illegally entering Capitol grounds, according to a criminal complaint provided by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Reda had his first court appearance on Tuesday and was released on a $25,000 bond. If convicted, he could face up to three years in prison.

Court papers state that Reda works at Viera High School in Florida. Brevard Public Schools confirmed to Click Orlando that the 54-year-old is a physical education teacher.
