Continuing faith in humanity.

It is difficult to maintain faith in our fellow man when they are trying to destroy everything you stand for, to the point of killing you, if necessary. It is understandable why anyone would be angry at such despicable acts. They have not one iota of respect for their fellow man. They cultivate hatred.

It is disappointing, to say the least, when half of the country accepts the lies that can destroy our country and our way of life. They have no appreciation of democracy or freedom. They are greedy, inconsiderate people.

It hurts the soul to think that there are so many of them and they are a danger to everyone who does not believe the same as them.

You can die, for all they care.

I grieve for my country.

And yet, they claim that freedom is the thing we are trying to take away from them.

Excellent post kentuck. I find it deeply sad myself.

Back in the 90’s they were still shameable and people like Tom Delay avoided negative publicity. Now they seek any publicity as a way of being/staying relevant (ie. MTG).

Lesson still not learned: you can’t give indecency a pass or negotiate with ne’er do wells.

I still have a haunting cartoon of McConnell and Graham watching the last debates musing: “how quaint they think we are playing the same game.”

The rules changed a long time ago.
