And yes, there are penalties...The consequences of attempting to open an airplane door are serious - Punishments include fines that reach upwards of $100,000 and jail time..

Much is written about NOT being able to open an airplane door.. pressurization and all..I have not flown since 911 - drove to Wash. state the following January to meet my sons ship, returning from the gulf..nope, ain't gonna fly...

She tried to attack them and open the door. Unless they have a way to sedate her for the rest of the trip, duct tape is an efficient way to keep her in place and shut her stupid mouth.
