“Now government health authorities are dialing up efforts encouraging 18- to 29-year-olds to get vaccinated. He got the first in January and then he moved to south Carolina and then flew back to get his second. He was dedicated and raised right

4. I fear a lot of young people won't get vaccinated. One of my liberal neighbors told me

that although she's vaccinated, she is not getting her teenagers the shot. She said she heard some things about fertility that worried her. Also, she said her kids aren't likely to have a severe case if infected. I think this is the attitude of a lot of parents unfortunately.

My neighbor is just sick about it, but her granddaughter refuses to get vaccinated. They're repubs, so ..........

6. Let's see how the numbers shake out

when they've had the same amount of time in which they were eligible to be vaccinated as the older folks have had. I suspect the figures will even out quite a bit when that is taken into consideration.

Bingo. My guess is it has less to do with what the vaccine represents to these folks than the fact that at that age people think they know everything and do indeed feel like nothing can touch them . Not sure how to break through that, it's only age that helps many see differently.
