FEMA's COVID-19 Funeral Benefit Check arrived today.
It was very easy to initiate the application process, but that's just the beginning. FEMA wants a good deal of supporting documentation as well. Some of it, like invoices from service providers, might be difficult for many to provide. Proof of payment of those invoices may also be needed, although FEMA contacts providers and asks them if payment in full was made.
Easy for me, but maybe not for some others.
It's a good program, so I hope all who are eligible are able to work their way through the process.
