Local McDonald's now uped their starting wage from $9

an hour to $11 and $17 for management. I was in another one a few miles away that went to $12 and $19. This is Ohio where the Governor cut the suplement a couple weeks ago. Seems like nobody will work for peanuts any more.

The pandemic changed that a bit, but increased wages will help a lot more.

That seems like the next move by the fast food industry. Lock in people for 40 hrs at < $15.00....

They are way cleaner and less mess than a fried chicken place like Bojangles or even most Hardee’s that I’ve seen. I’m not saying I’d love to do it but a well run McD’s tends to have steady staffing and it’s not a mess of flour and grease.

from customers a couple even invited them out in the parking lot. I sure wouldn't do it for $17 an hour.

now the companies are being forced to raise their base pay. i wanna see them choke the increases but that wont happen.

But of course part time only with no benefits, and they won't give you a fixed schedule, so it's tough to hold down 2 jobs.
