The long-running audit of Arizona presidential votes could become more confrontational now that the head of Cyber Ninjas, the company in charge of the recount, is demanding it be allowed to go to voters homes to grill them about their ballots.
The audit of Maricopa Countys 2.1 million votes, launched by state Senate Republicans and arranged by Cyber Ninjas, a little-known company with partisan ties, was supposed to be completed by May 14. But there has been no report on the operation, and the company still appears to be scrambling for information.
Cyber Ninjas CEO Doug Logan who recently appeared in a film promoting QAnon conspiracy theories and who predicted months before the recount that it would inevitably turn up hundreds of thousands of extra votes for Donald Trump says he has questions about the source of about 74,000 mail-in ballots.
He is now demanding access to more voting data records and the go-ahead to confront tens of thousands of voters on their doorsteps about their November ballots.

That's going blow up in your faces Cyber Ninnies but please proceed.

(4,986 posts)would be intimidated by this and would not know enough to tell them to go pound sand. I'm sure that's what they're counting on.
This definitely needs to be headed off....

(26,579 posts)The federal government needs to step in.
Unless the people in charge want the entire country to see them as feckless, worthless, and ineffectual. At that point why would people bother taking risks to go out and vote for them?

(12,369 posts)here in AZ, we value our privacy and don't take kindly to strangers coming to our doors and asking us who we voted for.
If any of those assholes come to my door, provided I'm not on the road, I'll tell them that Pres. Biden won and to get over the fact that Trump lost and to get the fuck off my lawn.

(7,733 posts)And, these voices are now alone and unprotected. The ballots should each be treated like a persona person that has rights.
The right to be counted.
The right to privacy.
These unprotected citizen voices have been mishandled by dirty hands and are tainted through no fault of their own.
They deserve the dignity to be placed back in storage and not used as a disgusting prop by a disgusting Party led by a disgusting man.

(3,396 posts)I had just come home from work, was tired and not in the mood for anything but a drink and family.
Someone rang the doorbell and when I answered there was a man about my age who introduced himself as a Jehovah Witness, and insisted he was here to save me.
I very politely, but in no uncertain terms told him I was agnostic and didn't want to talk to him. As I started to close the door, he stuck his foot in the door to keep it from closing.
It was probably less than one second when I was through that door, had grabbed him by the collars of his very nice suit, pushed him down the 2 steps to the lawn, and had him on his back. I informed him if I ever saw him again, it would be much worse for him. He ran down the street and jumped into a car waiting for him.
Moral of this story:
If a cyberninja ever knocks on my door, I won't be so kind to let them up and get away.
Be warned!

They better damn well allow a civil rights and election law attorney to accompany this inquisition to make sure they are intimidating people and/or LYING about what answers they give. but more importantly it should be STOPPED
