Secret Service detail expires for Ivanka, Jr., and Eric in three days.

Replying to
@HunterJCullen
"This also makes them more vulnerable to criminal prosecution"

THREE DAYS. 3 DAYS. The Countdown begins
You think they'll flee before Tuesday?

Donald and Melania Trump are entitled to Secret Service protection for life, while their 14-year-old son Barron Trump will have protection until his 16th birthday.

a prison sentence. They conceivably could get ss protection within the prison. But without it they are more vulnerable to the general population. Even in min security "country club" prisons, it can be rough.r

I'm hoping they just transfer responsibility for safety to the prison if/when daddy gets the cage.

The secret service is there to protect them from security threats, not to shield them from lawful service of warrants.

They aren't private security goons with badges.

in person. You are wrong on this.

Here is the Jared Kushner example:
DNC alleges Secret Service blocked it from serving lawsuit to Jared Kushner
https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/18/politics/jared-kushner-democratic-national-committee-lawsuit/index.html

Lawrence O'Donnell reported on this too, as did reporters from SALON.

It was not a law officer delivering a criminal complaint or making an arrest. Their is a huge difference. The judge even noted that there were other ways to serve notice without personally handing it to him.

It was eventually delivered.

Since you missed it, my subject line clearly stated

Really? You were clearly wrong when you claimed serving of subpoenas could not be more difficult with USSS protectees as this example clearly shows.

subpoenas (not criminal) to provide testimony to the House Special Committee investigating 01/06. Unless you've been under a rock the past four years, this past administration has made it a point to ignore subpoenas. The USSS has had a recent history of making an in-person serving of such subpoenas difficult. That is my point and it has also been born out at several Federal agencies (including IRS, Treasury, EPA) and members of Congress--during Trump --for those provided such protection

You know you might just admit you misread or misinterpreted. Admitting a mistake is NOT weakness, despite the opinions of our opponents.

We have all been talking about criminal indictments, civil and congressional are a completely different matter. By not including the words "civil" or "congressional", you created confusion.

I admit I assumed you were referring to criminal since you didn't specify civil.

who can't admit a mistake. At the risk of quoting a certain orange imbecile that tends to fall in that category, it is "sad," really.

I don't like interacting with those who can't, so, I bid you a good evening, but feel free to ignore my posts in the future. And, no, I am not infallible, but I do try to correct or admit mistakes. This, however is not one of them.

Donald Trump charged the Secret Service nearly $10,200 for its use of guest rooms at his New Jersey golf club in May, newly released records indicate.

The May charges at the Trump National golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey totaled $10,199.52 for an 18-day stay – about $566 per night at the resort ...

You're a Secret Service officer assigned to protect Ivanka. Some crazed individual, (probably a leftist Democrat!), attacks her while brandishing a firearm. As her protector, could you bring yourself to jump between Ivanka and the gunman?!

Think about it.

To be clear, I am not disparaging the USSS agents. I just know that I couldn't take a bullet for any of the Trumps! Hell, if gunfire broke out, I wonder if there'd be a fragging incident.
