lunacy has now metastasized into "There are no apples or bananas; never has been. Saying otherwise should be a crime."
Texas is on the verge of outlawing virtually any school classroom discussion of the civil rights movement or women's suffrage or the labor movement OR---? The words of Dr. King or Cesar Chavez or Susan B. Anthony will not be read in Texas classrooms.
None of this "unpleasantness" ever actually occurred, you see.

(5,225 posts)that books in classrooms across the country had to be approved by Texas Districts first because that state purchased so many. If still true, does that mean all children around the country will be subjected to the same prohibitions, and these subjects won't be covered in textbooks?
