NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Tennessee pastors are joining the chorus of lawmakers and doctors to call for an independent investigation into the controversial firing of the state’s top vaccination expert.

They’re calling on Governor Bill Lee to end the “politicization of public health” after ousting Dr. Michelle Fiscus.

“We are calling for an independent investigation into the suppression of vital, life-saving public health guidance,” said Rev. Dr. Kevin Riggs, pastor of Franklin Community Church in Franklin.

It is time to crack down on these political death dealers!

Steve Scalise just publicly got his vaccine. Republicans are changing their mind on getting the vaccine.

Hannity publicly told every one to get their vaccine, yet still spews the same anti vaccine bile. The WhiteHouse had a talk with Fox News. I doubt that it was amicable.

Get your d*** vaccine!

Notice from the WH hit home. Turns out they have been in contact for a while. Lawsuits from patients and their families may have made the difference. I understand that many on Fox are now pushing vaccines.

Scalise was dead silent until yesterday when he publicly got the vaccine. Why do I get the feeling Scalise will challenge McCarthy after the election? Maybe his naming Jordan and the other delivers of 1/6 may have sealed it for Steve.

opposed to doing responsible and good things about public health.

GrOPers oppose every other damn thing Jesus supposedly taught/did. All the while while obsessing and jerking off over much of the non-Jesus stuff in their "perfect" precious version (out of a bazillion) of that book.

are going more old testament now, since it suits their purposes better.

The "angry daddy in the sky/eternal pit of fire" is much more their style. The "divine son's" forgiveness and sharing/caring routine doesn't fit their political agenda.

He complained about taxation and government overstepping and inability to combat crime. I asked him if he believed in the truth of the teachings of Jesus and he, of course, said yes. So I reminded him about the cheek turning and the log in the eye as well as the do unto others and asked if he thought those concepts were relevant. He, the Christian, said those didn't apply when it came to gun ownership or abortion rights. I asked him what scripture he looks to for those issues. He had no answers that he could hook to the new testament. He left kinda defeated and " no damned sale" either. His type of religio-fascist is really pretty easy to confuse since they've never seriously considered the whys and wherefores of Christian living in any personal context.
