Fox News and every single person who pushed vax evasion is going to lose their shirts when it comes to credibility. Maybe this is what it takes. Fox News and the Jim Jones Republicans told their followers to go ahead and drink that COVID Koolaid. A bunch of them stood in line for it like good soldiers. But now that the cup actually gets handed to them, they're thinking, "what am I doing?"

1. I'm not as optimistic about FUX reaping the whirlwind. In order for people to be mad at FUX they

don't just have to recognize they were lied to, they have to admit to themselves that they got fooled by a lie. It's that second part which is the hang up.

I think most will retreat to "everybody thought" and "everybody said" and "nobody knew" because it absolves themselves of fault for being a sucker. And their experience with their media bubble will buttress that self-deception that everyone said and thought what FOX did.

The only thing they lose viewership over is by not being insane enough or Trump-boot-licking enough.
