Like, permanently.

Of course their 'leaders' (i.e. people who don't want to lose those votes) are going to frame it as 'the Trump Vaccine' and make it sound like getting it is showing your loyalty/affection for TFG ... as opposed to being the scientific/intelligent/responsible decision ... because that shit doesn't fly with stupid people.

Biden was getting high approval ratings on the pandemic, they had to change their tune fast.

Funny how reality bites you in the ass when you live in a Fake News Bubble to gin up your bankrupt party.

This is their last chance to flip the narrative before they get permanently locked in as, "the party that self immolated with the virus".

13000 new cases A DAY in Florida, and that's still 4 WEEKS from projected peak. If everyone left managed to get their first shot TOMORROW, that numbers gonna climb for another 2 weeks at least before it starts to drop again.

SHS and company planned to to claim the vaccine was unnecessary, Trump was right and COVID would just disappear, knowing they were vaccinated and not admitting it. However, their misinformation campaign was such a successful monster that they now have to try to kill it off.

They're trying to reframe this to give tfg credit and maybe to get more people vaccinated.

They measure intensity as well as straight up or down opinions.

My guess is that most people not taking the vaccines feel that it is an individual choice issue and don't mind much if Granny wants her shot.

On the other hand, people for the vaccines feel very strongly that the anti-vaxxers are irresponsibly endangering innocent people and are creating a long term health problem for our country.

Thus, the intensity is greater on the pro-vax side.

The greater the intensity of the position, the more likely folks are to vote based on that position.

Again, just my guess.

23. I think Grover Norquist told them at his Wednesday meeting
Sun Jul 25, 2021, 06:47 PM
Jul 2021

Norquist holds the meetings on Wednesdays and the whole right-wingosphere gets their talking points then, which is why they all seem to be in the same page all the time. Norquist represents the shadowy moneyed-interests, the puppet masters, that fund and finagle everything for the right-wing media, activists and politicians. So I think the moneyed-interests have decided the pandemic is not good for their bottom-lines and had Grover read the puppets the riot act about vaccination.

Norquist chairs the Washington, DC-based “Wednesday Meeting,” a weekly gathering of more than 150 elected officials, political activists, and movement leaders. The meeting started in 1993 and takes place in ATR’s conference room. There are now 60 similar “center-right” meetings in 48 states.

That even if they cheat, they won't be able to hold seats on the margins lol, and they're freaking out about it.

And when the still living among their base ask them WHY didnt you TELL US during their campaigns, they can say 'but I did that one time for that day during that one week'.
