I've starting posting tweets about the trial. The literally have nothing on Twitter. Their last post was about a bear cub that was rescued from the CA wildfires; which is great but they obviously need help reporting the seriousness of what is happening today.

5. I want to know why the regular broadcast channels are not airing the 1/6 hearing.

When I started watching the hearing this morning, I went to CBS, ABC, NBC, and PBS to see if they were broadcasting the hearing. Hell no! CBS was showing "Let's Make a Deal" and PBS had "Donkey Hodie"! I forget what ABC and NBC had on.

Should there not be some sort of law that these channels should be required to air programming of such vital importance to our democracy?! I know that people still have a million other channels to watch instead, but when all the regular channels air something, it gives that event the gravity that it deserves.

And Fox News, too! If they're going to call themselves a news station, they too should be required by law to air the 1/6 hearing.

YES if the HUGE media companies cared at all about democracy they would do just that. SHOW IT ALL IN PRIMETIME COMMERCIAL FREE and close the other cable channels off for 3 hours !
