how is Bali coping with absence of tourists? by trying to set a new path and method....

Bali has structural problems of its own, made worse by the tourist overlroad, and many there are trying out some new strategies before the return of visitors.

The part where they're collecting and sorting the accumulation of plastic that chokes every nook and cranny of the islands' delicate ecosystems should be a stark warning to us all. It's way past time for manufacturers to stop externalizing the cost of the mountains of plastic garbage they produce from single use packaging. Unless they are forced to pay for cleanup and recycling, the entire planet will be buried in trash.
