If there is a play book for Jan 6 insurrection, it was November 1917, what is known as the Bolshevik Revolution but what was called at the time an insurrection. A cadre of high level leaders targeting power and drawing together the shock troops to seize it. Lying to, about, and in some cases for the opposition, also known as enemies. Dividing the legislature into factions, and even though their party is in the minority, knowing how to marginalize, dismiss, rabble rouse their own followers and the public.
This is much about maneuvering to the time, place, the threshold of power and its transfer into their own hands. In 1917 other legislative bodies were dismissed, supportive leaders and forces were recalled from the front, the current government was in disarray, and Bolshevik proclamations propagandized popular ideas, put words in the opposition's mouth, and proclaimed victory all along.
I submit to you, in my opinion, the cadre surrounding TFG, the angry power-hungry elites, would have known all about these tactics which were historically tested as effective. None more so than Mr. "All hell is going to break loose ...."
