I think TFG inspired many of the worst liars and crackpots we have today.

I remember when my son was about 2 we were visiting my mom. My nephew brought his daughter over, she was about the same age. She was always throwing fits when she didn’t like something. She threw a major fit about something; laying on the floor screaming and crying. My son stood there watching with huge eyes. The little girls parents tried everything to placate her. My son was always pretty smart. He took it all in. The next day he threw a fit about something, the first time he’d ever acted like that. Me and the wife stood there and watched him for a bit but didn’t respond. After awhile he got back up and I’ve never seen him act like that again. He’d observed how it had worked for his cousin and gave it a try, guess you can’t blame him for trying. But when he saw how we didn’t react he never did it again. I think of all the rethugs and crackpots out there, they saw it worked for TFG to lie and abuse people and were encouraged to follow suit.

The difference is, they used to have to be more smart about hiding and getting away with the lies. Claustrum Jul 2021 #2

Now, as long as they say bad democrats and they are team republican, the republicans will just ignore whatever issues and shout "democrat hoax". They are not even hiding their bad acts anymore.

He helped them grow with his sunshine and his golden "rain", but he's not an orginator. He's a leech. He didn't create or inspire the worst of the crazies. He took 'em as he found 'em and ran with it.
