What about the meetings and planning that went on before that led to the 1/6 insurrection?

What about all the changing of history about this insurrection? What we saw in real time is not what happened. These were tourists not terrorists.

And have been for a while, I think this "cabinet meeting" BS is all about fluffing TFG's fragile ego. He still wants to pretend to be President (especially since he never did the actual job when he was in the White House).

So far, the other side has a lot of stupid and inept people. They tried with the coup on January 6th and failed.

We must be vigilant always, but there are some safeguards still in place.

Did you think that Americans would not learn from their own governments about overthrowing democracies in other countries and working with corrupt, murderous dictators for the US agenda - aka the agenda of big oil.

Many are using the same arguments - they do not think all humans are equal - they alone have rights.
You cannot support democracy at home and dictatorship that suits your agenda overseas.
Until enough Americans understand that you will be no safer than the rest of us.

What makes it worse now is that the ReTHUG political party in the US is actively supporting voter suppression at home while chatting shit about freedom for Cuba.

I'm 65yo. I've lived in the best years of American life.. IMHO.

WHATever is happening isn't up to me any more but the burden rests on the next generation.
It is their future, not mine.

... to the insurrection. I don't think they have any shot this August. Joe Biden is president and, hopefully, he is prepared for anything they might try. I absolutely believe the military will back Biden.

Their next real opportunity will be the presidential election of 2024. They will definitely try to steal the election and if they succeed, that will be the end of our democracy.

8. I'm Not As Worried About Another Insurrection As I Am About The Cheating And....

voter suppression activities being fostered now for Repugs to win the upcoming elections in 2022 and 2024.

The Repugs have worked very diligently - planning how they would cheat to steal the upcoming elections.

This is the plotting that really scares me.

I'm of the belief that TFG was assured that he would win re-election because they thought that they had the cheating and voter suppression in the bag.

This is why I believe that TFG believes that the 2020 election was stolen from him.

The American People came out in droves to overcome any cheating and suppression that the Repugs had in place and he lost fair and square.

It was a surprise to TFG and to the Repugs.
