3. Cockpit Country

Beautiful place that my teen son and I explored when we were posted in Jamaica years ago. We drove from Port Antonio into the Mountains as far as we could go, met a guide and hiked into the wilderness where the Rio Grande originates. Wonderful people, outstanding scenery and hard to believe that such an isolated wilderness exists on a small Island like Jamaica.
