Shouldn't this be the front page lead story in the papers and the top of the broadcast on the evening news?

It's all about being deserving. They see being poor as evidence that one must be a lazy slacker, which in turn means you don't deserve any help.

To put it another way, the only people who need help don't deserve it. After all, if they were industrious and hard working, they wouldn't be poor, and they wouldn't need help, don't you see?

It's all very convoluted logic and completely ignores the possibility that sometimes things happen to people that are NOT their "fault." I suppose it's all very comforting to those whose minds happen to work a certain way, but it makes me want to tear my hair out.

And by render, I mean fry the fat out of those slabs of lard that call themselves "job creators".

Wear the fucking mask over your nose. Or don't even bother to put one on.

I see such photos constantly. Everywhere. On the internet. In the newspapers. I really wish every such picture would have a caption pointing out the person isn't wearing it correctly.

I know, I know, that's not the point of the OP. But still, it makes me crazy.
