(81,881 posts)Sounds like a lot if they oppose a mandate. Last year they wanted to stay at home to protect themselves. How many of them don't want to get vaxxed this year?

(13,503 posts)at my daughter's school in BK, it seems as though the vast majority are vaccinated. But another friend works at a school in another borough, and there are a decent chunk of younger teachers who don't want to get vaccinated. So, it's a crapshoot.
I think the teacher's union is going to break with the liberal parents in my area if they fight a mandate if/when cases continue to rise. People are frustrated and fed up.

(13,503 posts)if they push against this. Families who supported them last year won't sympathize with people who won't get vaccinated to end this.

(52,169 posts)has he even once had such a rant about those who don't want mask mandates. I definitely want a vaccine mandate but also want a mask mandate. As it stands now, I could wind up quarantined because a student chose to be maskless.

Ultimately, we need to think of the children, however clichéd that phrase may be.
I, personally, am very happy about being vaxxed. Bill Gates makes all my decisions for me, and I never lose my keys because they are magnetically stuck to my fingers.
