(11,023 posts)Why else would you post a picture of a Trump flag?
Just own the fact that you're bashing Dems.

(11,023 posts)He's voted with Biden more than Bernie and the Squad. No he's not far left, but he's been more loyal to the party than the group who are endorsing the Stein supporter who called Biden a bowl of shit.
Yet here we are, someone posting a picture of a boat with a Trump flag and saying Manchin LOL!!!
And someone else saying, there was booze, I bet Sinema was there!
What the fuck is wrong with this place?
Just rather insult Democrats than show an ounce of sympathy to the large number of Democrats exposed to COVID by Graham.
And that's not getting into the people wishing death on Graham....

(11,023 posts)Just because someone else is an asshole doesn't mean we should act that way. And the fact that it's just baldly excepted that insulting Sinema and Manchin is perfectly okay despite rules that CLEARLY state it isn't bugs me.
I mean here we have an article about Lindsay Graham, and it's been twisted into insults against Manchin and Sinema (who wasn't even there!).
Jeez...

(128,965 posts)The onset and duration of viral shedding and the period of infectiousness for COVID-19 are not yet known with certainty. Based on current evidence, scientists believe that persons with mild to moderate COVID-19 may shed replication-competent SARS-CoV-2 for up to 10 days following symptom onset, while a small fraction of persons with severe COVID-19, including immunocompromised persons, may shed replication-competent virus for up to 20 days. It is possible that SARS-CoV-2 RNA may be detectable in the upper or lower respiratory tract for weeks after illness onset, similar to infections with MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV. However, detection of viral RNA does not necessarily mean that infectious virus is present. Based on existing literature, the incubation period (the time from exposure to development of symptoms) of SARS-CoV-2 and other coronaviruses (e.g., MERS-CoV, SARS-CoV) ranges from 214 days.
All of those who were exposed to him will probably have to do several days of testing over that 2 week period (although I have been seeing more use of a "10 day" criteria) to confirm either way. The PCR takes way longer to get results from, so any "fast" test probably wouldn't be enough early on due to being less sensitive, although a positive on one of those would (outside of potential false positives) probably be pretty definitive but would still do better to be confirmed with a full PCR.

He follows the moderate line of his wife, Gabby. He is also a freshman Senator, learning the ropes and connections in DC, and who has to face a re-election campaign in Arizona again in 2022, since he won a special election last year. He is one of us, but he has to watch where he treads. The Republicans see him as a prime target to knock off next year. As a former astronaut, they won't have an easy time of it, but as we have seen, Arizona isn't against allowing Republican machinations when an election produces a result that Republicans don't like.
