Whiny litigious baby Devin Nunes, Republican of California, is suing Rachel Maddow. Bloomberg reports what Devin Nunes is paying attorneys to say. Really.

"'MSNBC and Maddow harbor an institutional hostility, hatred, extreme bias, spite and ill-will towards plaintiff due to plaintiff’s emergence as the most prominent skeptic in Congress of Maddow’s marquee news narrative from 2017 to 2019: that the Trump campaign colluded with Russians to hack the 2016 presidential elections,' Nunes’ lawyers said in the complaint."

Wow, if this case goes anywhere (it won't), we can't wait for Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to use Devin Nune's "precedent" to go after Fox hosts, personally, as well as the entire network.

Coward waited until Maddow was on vacation to announce the lawsuit. What a chicken.

Why the hell is he filing the lawsuit in Texas?

This is a waste of time. She won't settle either so Nunes is going to have to withdraw the suit. Then Maddow and MSNBC should go after Nunes for filing a SLAPP suit. Texas has anti-SLAPP laws, as does California so Nunes is likely barking up the wrong tree here.

Maddow is notorious for making sure that her information is accurate and sourced. She was sued by some right winger for making claims that he worked for Sputnik or something to that effect. While Tucker Carlson was defending himself from defamation with the, "He's an entertainer, who makes stupid claims that no reasonable person would believe" defense, Maddow was using the "Every word I said is accurate, so this is not defamation" defense. I am sure Nunes will get the same treatment.

Like I said, Nunes is going to have to withdraw the case, or get beaten in court. Either way this is not going to look good for him. He couldn't win against a Twitter Cow, how is he going to win against a commentator known for her integrity?
