(57,704 posts)It's a small point, but it's a point anyway. They might as well be appointed. It's hard for management's choice to lose an election. Usually the percentage of votes tallied by the nominee is of North Korean proportions.

I don't own Kroger stock, so no one called me to see what my choice was. I think I've seen her on another board. IIRC, I voted against her.

According to financial disclosure forms, Chao was slated to receive $15 million as compensation for her service on the board of Wells Fargo.

If you start boycotting grocery chains based on the politics of their Board members, you won't eat.
Now, here's the part where you reply to tell me how you only buy from vegan co-ops or you forage all your food.
