Private schools in AZ are exempted from ban on COVID mandates.

JUST IN Phoenix's Brophy College Prep, alma mater of Ducey sons, mandates vaccinations for all on campus, or regular COVID-19 testing if they don't show proof of vaccination. As a private school, Brophy is exempted from ban on COVID mandates.

My friends' private school was parochial and strictly working class.

But in some states, it does mean that they're not under the Board of Education's jurisdiction. Think of them as NGOs, and the governor's only governor over "GOs."
