General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsIs there something like an insert that would come with the vaccine? I keep hearing
people asking for the insert implying that the reason no one has seen it is the CDC or someone is trying to keep the ingredients in the vaccine a secret.
Anyone in the know, know?

(8,387 posts)Auditory disturbances, like continuing to hear abnormal thing like that, can be due to many causes.
It could be as simple as exposure to a loud noise, and your hearing might return to normal. On the other hand, some cases of tinnitus may be due to an underlying health problem such as anemia, thyroid problems, heart disease or vitamin deficiencies.
I would suggest that if you continue to hear abnormal things for more than a few days, that you schedule an appointment with your doctor to discuss the strange things you keep hearing.

For example, if someone keeps listening to assholes without protection, they could get hearing aids.

(35,300 posts)When people get the vaccine, they're to be given a flyer. It includes ingredients and other information that was current at the time.
It's *not* the same kind of extensive insert that comes with products that are well established and are fully authorized. Why? Because the process that produces the full authorization makes for a more complete insert. By then a longer-track safety record's been established, more possible side-effects and complications are noted, yada-yada.
But the flyer I got in March was more than adequate to answer most of the questions I've seen raised: Ingredients, then-known counter-indications, side-effects, etc.
