and neither will his girlfriend, who is a nurse and apparently didn't want her last name used in the article hartmann tweeted. i found another article (where i didn't have to give out my email to read it) and it says they set up a go fund me.
on go fund me the mom gave an update: "They are trying to decrease sedation
Still having little issues with his heart.
Physical and occupational therapy are going to start working with him today.
He is looking at 3 to 4 more months in the hospital!"
i know i can be a real bitch but i think setting up a go fund me when the family was like fuck-you-all about getting vaccinated to protect the family & the community takes a lot of fucking nerve. too bad they didn't use that to help them be brave enough to get vaxxed (or whatever their excuse for that is)

He's on an ECMO right now. $5000 is not going to come close to his final hospital bill. If he lives.
Oh, and the government WAS "fudging the numbers", but it was your republican run state government doing that, not Democrats in Washington.

(50,557 posts)Milwaukie is a suburb of Portland, so definitely not part of the bright-red eastern Oregon hellhole.

What's that old adage about what happens when we assume things?
Thanks for pointing that out.
