Even if I had an all-expenses paid cruise, there is no way that I would take one now. niyad Aug 2021 #2

'floating Petrie dishes (cruise ships)'

[We have friends who did 1 or 2 cruises per year before Covid]

Those boats only carry about 175 people, max and were planning on implementing vaccine passport only cruises. Still, nope for me. We'd have to fly from a FL airport and those places are awfully crowded and unsafe, the airplanes themselves, going through crowded customs with thousands of people and who knows what conditions would be like there - no! Even with a really big discount - NO just NO.

My friend was telling me about river tours in NE. That is the only way I could see getting on a boat where I would drive to the port, not fly. And then it would have to be a vaccinated only trip and on a small boat with not a lot of passengers and one with an outside balcony.

I HATE ANTI-MASKERS and their selfish, entitled attitudes that are killing others and causing our country to step back from the brink of success.

Always felt a bit uncomfortable in planes for similiar reasons. Even in business class seats.

Typically it’s people who never took a cruise. I go on one a year definitely and occasionally two if lucky that year. My last cruise was January 2020. Barely beat the corona standdown. I can’t wait to go on one again. 2021 will be the first year in 20 years to not take a cruise. Sucks!!!!! I’m counting on going on one in 2022 or two or three…..lol.
