A terrifying new theory: Fake news and conspiracy theories as an evolutionary strategy

Maybe this is why we cannot understand how Qanon beliefs are believed. If so, we're in for a awful future.

The total function of the rumors is to organize your group and get it ready for attack. You do so by pointing out that the enemy is powerful, that it's evil and that it's ready to attack, so you need to do something now.

It's also been used in the current day by sPUTIN and his reTHUGS. Let's see if we're willing and
capable of using the anti-fa strategy today that worked so well back in the day.
