(2,114 posts)How whacked is that? Why are Republicans so intent on lying to, and thereby making people sick and causing so many to die so needlessly?
What in the the nonHoly Republican Hell is their so-called "rationale" for lying to America and causing such sickness and sorrow?

(11,740 posts)Yes, she wants to debunk their stupidity in real time, which she has done masterfully. Also, she cannot be accused of not allowing "conservative" media to ask questions. She has siloed them off without actually denying them anything. It really is a master class in how to handle the stupidity of conservative media.
She never uses the ridiculous hyperbole that hacks like McKenany used. She is clear, matter of fact, and likely always has the data that backs up her claims.

(82,849 posts)Because Biden had the temerity to correct the lies the former guy peddled so assiduously, it caused confusion! It reminds me of a Pogo strip, where Pogo mentions the peaceable kingdom quote of the lions laying down with the lambs. Albert the alligator wonders why that vision can't come about right now instead of in the sweet bye-and-bye. Pogo allows as how the lions seem willing to lie down with the lambs, but for obvious (if unspoken) reasons, the lambs aren't quite so amenable. Albert gets all fired up, and blames the lambs for all the ongoing strife.

(11,740 posts)She is quick, has her facts down, is just condescending enough to let the person know they are being stupid, but not to the point where it can be seen as mean. Just perfectly done. All press secretaries need to study her to learn how it is done.
