Fake vaccination card proposal.

Make it a $500 fine for using or having falsified vaccination card, for each occurrence. Pay a $200 reward to any person or company that exposes someone for doing so for each occurrence.

People would start turning in their asshole friends who cheat. Plus, any company that turns in someone who cheated would get the $200. A restaurant might pick up several thousand a night. A college could retain a couple of hundred thousand.

Raise the fine and reward, and you would have companies forming to check and collect. To really chap the right wingers who cheat, just add the bill to their income tax. They hate taxes.

The actual penalties for forging a federal document bearing an agency seal are MUCH higher. This is counterfeiting and there are already penalties.

Zachary Honig, 21, was arrested Tuesday on charges including petit larceny and criminal possession of a forged instrument after taking eight pre-filled vaccination cards and 54 blank ones, and CVS said in a statement they had terminated his employment and were cooperating with investigators.

There have been several other arrests. These are felony offenses with fines well over $5000 plus imprisonment.

as we see judges and DA's are loathe to charge or sentence those extremes. I think that there could be a massive influence by hitting common folk with $500 fines over an over. And companies that require vaccination evidence can cross check on the cards they are shown and turn in offenders for money. I'm thinking airlines, hotels, sporting venues.

So jerks who buy or use the cards will never know when they will be found out.

I'm all for raising the fines and rewards, but only if the penalty is non-negotiable by republican judges and DA's.

Instead, sentence them to vaccination. Do the first shot at time of sentencing, then throw them in jail (where mask mandates are strictly enforced) for three weeks on the sheriff's work crew, then give them the second shot and send them home.

If they want to carry a vaccination card so bad, let's give them a valid one.

I see that method as only being an out for the jerks. They get to say they were forced to get a shot.

I think money is a primary motivator to those idiots. Especially if it affects their taxes. It's only fair to tax them on this, since their refusal and subsequent hospital treatment is costing tax payers as is.
