Lindsey Graham called Joe Biden to apologize

Last edited Sun Aug 15, 2021, 01:35 AM - Edit history (1)

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) seemed to have no qualms about attacking President Joe Biden’s son Hunter during the 2020 election, but at the same time he apparently wanted to remain friends with his former Senate colleague.

According to The New York Times, Graham called Biden shortly after the election to try and repair their fractured friendship, allegedly telling the president-elect that he only attacked Hunter to satisfy Trump supporters—even as he called for a special prosecutor to look into the younger Biden’s business dealings.

Biden, however, was reportedly not interested in patching up the relationship, telling Graham he was trying to play both sides, sources close to the president said. Days after the phone call, the Times noted, Biden remarked to Stephen Colbert that Graham was “a personal disappointment because I was a personal friend of his.”

You betrayed Biden and McCain. You smeared Johns record and his sacrifice for this country. You tossed years of friendship into the trash then set it on fire. All this for incompetent ass who has proven to be a traitor to this country. You weak sniveling bastard, you still support him.

As for Joe, you did the ultimate no no. You attacked 'your friends son' and led the call to investigate. You are one sick pup if you think Joe would let that slide.

You made your bed, lay in it. I hope you never have another night of peaceful rest.

7. Lindsey G has lost whatever soul he ever had. Hunter Biden is the last child of Joe's first family...

Hunter has had his share of troubles, and as someone acutely noted, also seems to be the one into whom the family sorrows have filtered the most. However you parse it, Hunter is a vulnerable soul.

That said, how dare you, Lindsey Graham? Joe thought he knew you; Joe thought you were an actual friend. And now you want him to participate in throwing his only remaining son under the bus because ha-ha it’s a fucking political game?

I am glad Joe didn’t try to let this pass without comment. I wouldn’t be surprised if somewhere inside he just wants to take Lindsey out behind the school and thrash him.

He has no center. He is unmoored and needy. He attached himself to Trump like a wannabe middle school seeks to hang out with the bully crowd in order to eat at the cool kids lunch table.

He betrayed the trust and friendship with a decent and good man. For what? He did it for popularity with the the miscreant Trump crowd. He doesn’t deserve forgiveness.

It would be rich to know what Biden said to him in that phone call. I bet it stung.

especially his son, I think Joe Biden would have accepted his apology. Graham doesn't understand parental protectiveness, and went too far.

Now and into the future he will face the consequences of choosing a low-life grifter over a man he'd said was the most decent man he had ever known.

Friends don't do that even for political expediency. If anything, it shows what sort of man Graham is: a fair-weather friend, a liar and a man willing to support the most corrupt, inept and vindictive POTUS the country has suffered through while witnessing the attempted overthrow of our government.

Neither friend nor patriot.

Traitor on all fronts!
