The reason we don’t need long haul flights to US. We can fly shorter distances, discharge passengers & get back to pick up more bodies. We can evacuate more if we fly to Uzbek or Qatar or Pakistan. Helos to ships which is going on.

I'm going to guess that the probably-not-unappreciable number who now find themselves in uncomfortable situations (according to some reports) are mostly people who waffled on whether or not to leave.

A sentiment this is entirely understandable, this country is your home after all. But I really want to hear that everyone who COMMITTED to leave within a proscribed time period (which I hope was communicated as 'before now') will still be given a chance to do so.

And I wish for the best for the people who elected not to leave, or could not for some reason.

Sounds like US & Biden's team DID have a plan!

Maybe Joe knows better than to announce the fragile, critical plans to the Media. Ya know, considering what a bunch of screaming dopes they can be.

I'll keep my faith in our President's capable hands & wait for him to address the Nation.
