https://www.dailydot.com/layer8/comcast-censors-net-neutrality/

"An open internet advocacy group says Comcast is attempting to censor a pro-net neutrality website launched in the ongoing fight against the Federal Communications Commission.

The group, Fight for the Future, says Comcast sent it a cease-and-desist order demanding the group take down the website Comcastroturf.com on the grounds that it violates the company’s “valuable intellectual property.”

Your quote was from 2017.

Comcast dropped the suit and the site was never shut down. Thats from May of this year.

I not going to argue the evils of corporate America media is any better than the cartoon states. DU stands out to me because we check facts. You seem to be just pushing a point which the cartoon reader is already supposed to be in on the of absurdness that is the media.

But this is not about checking facts. That should be a given in a place such as DU. They have a natural liberal bias as Colbert said.

Its about WHAT stories they chose to find the facts about and broadcast the results. They still do not want to turn off the 'moderate' viewer. They still have to sell cars.
Its about the news media STILL pandering to both sides. When its clear one side is pushing the country into Fascist form of libertarianism. White nationalists are seen as the biggest influences of this rise of anti-democratic actions by citizens and also elected lawmakers. And that's true, but this new breed of the Tea Party won't turn away a black friend. Nor any minority player to the game. As long as they are as greedy and callous, or just plain ignorant, all are welcome.

This rise in popularity for a made-in-America dictator is a serious threat. That is the real news. IMO, they should call Mitch and the rest of them out for facilitating it. Worry about the Republican's cancelling Wolf Blitzer's or Jake Tapper's access later. If the real news is your country is being steered towards that abyss by other news media outlets, and politicians, celebrities....why not report it that way?
I know some hosts are better than others, I'm just venting.
